Everyday Jody would turn the news on to listen to when she would get herself ready in the mornings. She was a junior in high school and overheard news reporters talking about some attack that had happened in New York. Not really comprehending the whole situation, Jody went to school where she began to understand the day's events from classmates and teachers.

Assignment #1 - Scavenger Hunt

 The key is patience.

You cannot find beauty, but

 beauty must find you.

That being said, I learned that just because I might not have the nicest camera doesn't mean that I can't take great pictures. I have discovered that I have a pretty decent camera. Although it isn't a DSLR, it still gets the job done. I never used to take my camera around with me but I think it might be worth it to start getting into that habit now. Also, Lightroom is there to make pictures better, not worse. So if there's nothing really wrong with the picture, why change it more than I have to? Instead of thinking I need to find something in the picture to edit (here, there, and everywhere), I am going to see if I like the picture as is and try to change as little as I possibly can. On a less serious note, people have some interesting FHE's. I mean, reenacting the fights between the Nephites and Lamanites using makeshift armor, shields, and swords out of cardboard boxes/tubes and hurling water balloons in the process--that's pretty interesting in my book.
